Pricing Structure for Texas Clients

Individual, 50 minute sessions: $175

Group sessions: $35-50, based on need

I am out of network with all insurance, and maintain a varying number of sliding scale spots to increase accessibility for those who are unable to pay full fee.

As of March 2024, all sliding scale spots are full.

Beginning March 1, 2024, I am instituting an equitable pricing model for Colorado clients.

Traditional therapy business models often create financial barriers for many in our community. Our evolving practice aims to center equity and collective care. By implementing an equitable pricing model, we are experimenting with a fairer system. This may become available for Texas clients in the future as well, and clients will be notified accordingly; at this time this model is currently only available to Colorado clients.

The therapist has evaluated their fee structure to ensure it covers the operational needs of our practice, meets licensing requirements, and supports their own well-being. We understand that this "market" rate impacts individuals differently, particularly those facing barriers such as racism, sexism, queer/transphobia, and ableism. To address this, we've developed the following scale and encourage you to locate yourself within it. Please note there are a limited number of spots available in the reduced rate category, to ensure sustainability of the practice. I am happy to discuss this further with you in our initial, free consultation. As of March 2024, all reduced rate spots have been filled.

Above Market Rate

5-25% Above

Individuals with the means to comfortably afford a higher rate contribute to ensuring that those facing financial constraints can access therapy at a reduced rate.

Market Rate

$175

We encourage individuals who can comfortably meet their essential needs and some discretionary expenses to select $175 for individual, 50-minute therapy services.

Reduced Rate

50-75% of market rate (approximately $75-$130)

This rate is set below the standard market rate to accommodate individuals with limited financial resources. Our aim is to make therapy accessible without causing undue financial burden.

The following graphic, reproduced here with credit and gratitude to Alexis J. Cunningfolk, provides additional information on the concept of equitable pricing.
